Automotive Technician Position Available

Wilmington Tire & Auto is seeking a skilled Automotive Technician who takes pride in quality workmanship and enjoys diagnosing mechanical challenges. This role is an important part of helping our customers keep their vehicles safe, reliable, and performing at their best. The ideal candidate will be comfortable diagnosing and repairing a variety of vehicle concerns, including mechanical issues, drivability problems, and electrical system faults.

As an Automotive Technician at Wilmington Tire & Auto, you will perform repairs and routine maintenance following manufacturer guidelines. Typical responsibilities may include servicing brake and hydraulic systems, exhaust components, fuel and ignition systems, electrical systems, suspension and alignment, air conditioning systems, and vehicle computer systems. Careful attention to detail and accuracy are essential so every repair meets the high standards our customers expect.

Technicians in this position also work closely with other team members and occasionally communicate with customers about recommended repairs. Being able to explain technical findings in clear, simple terms helps customers understand what their vehicle needs and why the service is important.
